Very sad. I lived in Isla Verde for 4 years back in the 1970s and what has happened to the "jewel of the Caribbean" over the past 30+ years is very sad.

I just returned from Puerto Rico and a resident shared his concerns about PR with us, which were many of the things highlighted in the article.
