I see yesterday Anguilla announced a 14 day lock down with all ports of entry closed. I can't find much information as to why they did this so I assume they had a Covid spike? Anguilla has been super strict and more or less closed since this all began. I'm wondering if this is a legit problem on their island or just pearl clutching? I'm concerned because if they closed due to a spike what's the chance SXM would follow suit? My group arrives in SXM on Wednesday and I'm a bit concerned about getting caught in a lock down.

OK, no reason to have several threads about this, so closing this one. Scubaman posted a link to the story in the Daily Herald in another thread.
