Hi,
We are planning on a visit to Orlando next month and are interested in a day or two visit to the nude friendly resort in Kissimmee and have a couple of questions. What is the cost of a day pass? Are visitors welcome? Is there a restaurant on the grounds? Do they have a pool? Is the resort called Cypress Cove? Any other helpful info would be appreciated. Thanks.

You also have Paradise Lakes and Caliente in that general area.

There are quite a few more choices other than Paradise Lakes and Caliente in the Tampa area. Which is basically 70 miles away from Cypress Cove. Specifically; The Woods, Lake Como, Paradise Pines RV Resort, The Oasis, The Island Group and Gulf Coast Resort.

Paradise Lakes and Caliente are no longer recognised AANR resorts. Here is an exerpt from examiner.com about that.

Paradise Lakes, which opened in 1981 and was associated with AANR for more than 20 years, recently promoted a “Miss G-string Competition” to be hosted by a Penthouse cover model. This event certainly doesn’t seem like the kind to which families would flock.

Apparently, AANR agreed. Upon learning of the competition, AANR voted to temporarily suspend Paradise Lakes’ membership. Resort owner, John Forier reacted to this news by withdrawing from AANR altogether.
In 2008, a neighboring resort, Caliente, also withdrew its membership to AANR after investigation and subsequent suspension by that organization. Caliente’s alleged ties to a swingers’ organization breached the agreement with AANR.

The moral of this story? If you're nakationing with your family, be certain that your destination is AANR endorsed; you’ll be able to count on naturism at its best.

I'm not familiar personally with those other resorts, but thanks for posting the other options in that general area.

If your going to Orlando, Cypress is/should be your first choice/stop. The other places are really North of Tampa and not an easy commute to Disney or Orlando area.

Unless your looking for non-AANR activity, the mix of facilities, food, prices says Cypress.

We have been visiting Cypress Cove most every day for the past 3 months. I don't think you will be disappointed and it is any easy drive from the Orlando Area. Enjoy. Let me know if I can answer any other questions. Depending how many days you plan to visit, they do have a 2 week pass for $50 pp which is cheaper a day by day pass for more than two days or so.

I went to Cypress Cove in 1999, while on an extended retirement search. We liked it but were looking for a different type of area to settle in. We returned last year. We were staying at a Hilton property near Disney, for the Food and Wine festival. We were staying with friends who are also members of Lake Como. We decided to visit Cypress Cove for a day trip.

When we arrived, we showed our AANR cards and the gate person looked in her computer and had our profile from 1999. We paid $18.00 (i think) and were admitted. The facility is better than it was in 1999. The new pool area is wonderful, as is the bar/ restaurant.

Don't delay, go.
