Anyone heading down soon will want to keep this in mind. Long water outages, particularly in Orient Bay. It's in the full Daily Herald today, but so far I haven't seen it online.

http://www.lepelican-journal.com/sa...8Uod8i6enFUVIE49xdbtrhWAKkPVbRs6f2ga_aIgMonday May 31, 2021: Terre Basse, Résidence Navigateur, Résidence Habitat plus, la Savane, Mont Choisy, Concordia Gendarmerie. Tuesday June 01, 2021: Orient Bay, BO Garden, Friar's Bay (In the case of Orient Bay and BO Gardens, outages are scheduled on Tuesday between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. and reopening on Wednesdays between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. ). Wednesday June 02, 2021: Sandy Ground, Terre Basse, Baie Nettlé, Mont Carmel in Concordia (for Mont Carmel, between rue Richardson and rue de Jean-Jacques Fayel and between rue de Spring and rue de Concordia). Thursday 03 June 2021: Cul de sac, Mont Vernon 1,2,3, Hope Estate, Anse Marcel. Friday 04 June 2021: Marigot, Rue de Hollande, Bellevue, Rue Lowtown in Marigot. Saturday 05 June 2021: Orleans district, Belle plaine, Oyster Pond Sunday 06 June 2021: Approval, Hameau du Pont, Residence Santa Monica, Grand St Martin, Border Police, Seafront in Marigot and Morne Rond in Marigot. As a reminder, outages are scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and reopening between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. RECOMMENDATIONS The EEASM and the SAUR invite the populations concerned by this calendar to organize themselves according to the planned cuts and, more generally, urge the entire population of Saint-Martin to show good citizenship during the coming weeks and until the end of the works. A very reasoned and responsible use of drinking water would make it possible to ensure that these sectoral cuts can be as frequent as possible. After an interruption in dispensing, unusual coloring of the water may occur. In order for the water to regain its full transparency, it is recommended to leave the tap open for a few tens of seconds.

According to doctorj, Orient Beach hotel also has alternative water plans. I would hate to be without water for the length of times they are talking about at Orient...

Best move we could have made. Florence and crew at Orient Beach Hotel saved our vacation. They must have their own cistern.

Does anyone know how long these outages are expected to go for ??? Is this going all month???
Best! That's what I was wondering too - is this a one or two week thing or summer-long thing?

These water issues are unusual, to the extent that they have been somewhat constant for the past month. They are related to all the infrastructure improvements they are doing. Hopefully they are close to finished with it.
