A very blissful 21 nights at GCBC comes to a close today, as we head home--SXM-CLT-PHX-then SJC next morning. At least we upgraded at a price I don't like paying, but, Covid made me lose my concern about money on this trip. I know I'm not alone in wanting to go somewhere, anywhere, and there's no finer place to come than GCBC, my opinion only. A very worthwhile trip, despite the early curfew at the beginning of the trip.

We hadn't really planned to accomplish much, and we actually accomplished even less, which means we exceeded expectations (somehow that line doesn't work during your performance appraisal with your boss). One of the casualties of my advanced state of laziness was demonstrated by my trip reports disappearing mid-trip, but I'll try to do a final one or two once we get settled in back at home.

Things are still slow here but picking up. We will be back. And it looks like the island is coming back, but, of course, on island time.

Sounds perfect to me and I have to agree - Grand Case Beach Club is the perfect place on island to vedge out. No pressure to do ‘stuff’ but ‘stuff’ is there if you want it. No need to leave to obtain excellent meals. Unless you want to. Just a perfect place to do what you want when you want to. That is, if you want to do anything beyond beach and pool and it’s perfect for that, too. Safe travels.

Looking forward to your final words. 😊😊

Respectfully,

pat
