The USVI has introduced a digital vaccine pass. You will be able to upload the pass to the travel portal. The expectation is that this pass will be used for entry to the USVI once the travel protocol is changed to allow vaccinated people to travel without a COVID test. We went ahead and got ours. You upload your proof of vaccination and they send you a scannable document and a pass that can be downloaded to your Apple or Google wallet.

So, the USVI is ahead of the US. Good for them. The US would have already had this in place if politics hadn't gotten in the way.

Does this mean, that effective immediately, you can get the passport and get USVI arrival from the BVI without having another COVID test?

This might be a step toward no testing but right now the the USVI Health Dept website requirements for entry have not changed.

This is just rolling out. It will eventually help with entering the USVI from the US. The entry protocol for foreign countries has not changed; that is a US policy not a USVI policy.

I applied and have mine now -- have both shots -- but they will accept 1st shot and then update
Fairly easy process online.
