Does anyone know what this plant is? My wife took the photo near the beach on Orient Bay.

I've seen that before. Grows in a lot of different parts of the world. We have it here in WA State too. It's also edible.

It's called Shoreline purslane, also known as Sea purslane & Shoreline sea-purslane. It's found on coastlines around the world, produces tiny pink flowers.
