New blue roofs were well underway 18 months ago and are complete except the old lobby building.
New railings are up on much of the balconies and outside walkways of majority of buildings. Scaffolding is up doing the remainder.
The buildings are also painted a nice white to go with blue roof.
All of the walkways/staircases of the buildings have been retiled and look nice including some mid buidling staircases that looked decrepit in the past.
The pool does not look worked on yet.
The lower parking lot still cratered mud like the moon.
The upper most units that had concrete structure damage are still being actively worked on.
The road to Mt V is in best shape in many years.
The pizza shop and laundry are open.
The seaweed accumulation in front of Mt Vernon is very bad but nowhere as horrendous as cul de sac Pinel ferry area which has an intolerable odor.
The salt pond to the right of Mt. V and in front of Sol e Luna is disgusting. Im guessing see weed washed in and then the pond is drying up with rotten seaweed. It has a stagnant red look to it. In normal times, that water was home to hundreds of Pelicans that would takeoff on patrol every morning. They are smart enough to avoid that.
