The JB web site has been wonky for several weeks. If I try to book BDL-SXM from the "Flights" area, it says "Sorry, we don't fly there". If I go to "Vacations" or "Destinations" and choose SXM, I am able to see flights BDL-FLL-SXM. I booked them for October on one of the times I was able to see the flights. The app will not show BDL-SXM, but will show SXM-BDL.

For those of us who called JB and actually spoke to an agent, it seems that we are getting the same response, that the flights are active and confirmed. I would be more inclined to be skeptical if someone had gotten a different answer. Just my take, we shall see, Mike. For what it is worth, in March 2020 I was told repeatedly by Delta agents my flight from SXM would go as scheduled. My wife was also told the exact same thing by ticket agents at my return airport. Gues what the flight was cancelled and I was left scrambling to get home. Just because ALL agents say the same thing, and they are likely reading a script, does not mean they are giving accurate information. I would be VERY skeptical in this case.

Just checked for flights for November 2021 at Jetblue website. It clearly shows no flights to SXM for that whole month compared to previous months. Altough you can book a direct flight on a Monday for 89.00 on the current sale that I beliveve ends today.
Why so much drama try another airline as it appears you dislike everything JetBlue offers. Give it a rest.

Things that make you go "Hmmmm":
I recently posted a page capture showing that JB did not have any EWR-SXM flights on Tues/Wed/Fri for 6 weeks starting in November....well there are now flights on Tuesdays starting the 11/16. Strange that they would add Tuesday instead of keeping the "full" Friday flights that they have to move everyone off of
..on a different note....I just got an email from JB about a seat change for my LAS flight in September...and the change shows the exact same seats as booked....so they send a notification for that but not for a flight change to a completely different date. Makes sense....to JB ....(and I like JB)
Maybe the date change email will come when they complete the other Friday change. That would actually make some sense

For the record, I went with my gut instinct and after a very long wait on hold, I ultimately was able to get through to JB. The CSR that I worked with was very understanding and in being proactive, she resolved all our concerns. She finally put us in almost the same seats on the same days as our original booking but moved us to JFK departures and arrivals. Sometimes, like it or not, a girl’s gotta’ do what a girl’s gotta’ do. So once again, JFK it is.

Well, as I suspected would happen, JB indeed canceled our outgoing flight from EWR on Wednesday. After a 3+ (!!!!) hour wait on hold, I was able to reschedule it to leave from JFK. On the plus side, we get in 2 hours earlier. But have a VERY early wake-up and extra $100 car ride out to JFK. Oh well!

Kathleen and sanfilip--Glad you were able to get it resolved. Three hours on hold is just ridiculous though. No idea what's going on with Jet Blue, but that is crazy..

Not wanting to cause any additional upset here, but I do hope anyone holding November/December JET BLUE. reservations will take the time to check what you’ve got.
I was able to get through last Thursday after an extremely long wait, almost four hours, and we made the necessary change to JB out of JFK due to our EWR flights being cancelled.
Done, right? Not quite!!
Monday I got the dreaded email advising of more changes to our JB reservation. But this time it was only the time of departures to about three hours earlier in each direction. Not liking those times but at least we get there the correct day…..
I know almost all the airlines are experiencing major scheduling/cancellations right now, be it Covid related or not, but geez, Louise - there’s got to be a better way!!

Boucharda,
They can’t,
And Carol,
My issues have all been resolved. For now, anyway but I just hope others are being proactive and not waiting for the last minute to check their reservations.
The JB issues are being seriously exacerbated by the inability to get through on the phone. They really need to institute a ‘Call Back’ program like AA has.

We've been flying the JB to JFK for some time now, and never an issue. Last trip in June we got a schedule change of 5 minutes. Just booked for October with no issues.

And I hope your good luck remains that way, Elaine. We’ve gotten those minimal minute changes, too. Don’t mind them at all.
After all the nonsense last week re Newark and having to change to JFK to get out on the day we originally booked, I truly thought our issues were over. And now we have a notice that we’re currently booked to depart at 7:30 AM. This means we have to be at the airport at 5:30 AM for the international flight. Which means leaving CT at 4:00 AM. Which means we probably won’t even bother going to bed.
Oh,Mt he prices we pay for our SXM time but in the end it’s so very worth it……🙂🙂

We have been leaving in the wee hours of the morning, for years, but I appreciate that there is less I95 TRAFFIC and we get to SXM before the rush. Boucharda, I never saw the EWE flights returned to Tuesday, but as long as it stays on the schedule from JFK, we're happy. I think since this post was put on, I have spent around 15 or more hours on the phone! When I actually had a "real agent" answer, and not someone paid to answer the phone and say, the planes in "November" are full and not to worry, it became a little easier. I think they were as confused as we were. Hopefully this is the end of this topic......

JB usually doesn't disappoint me, but they are testing my patience and loyalty. We've always flown in and out of JFK, but I was excited to learn that they started flights from/to EWR, so I booked those since it's much closer to home and saves us big $ on the car service. Seems like they are still tweaking those flights. I hope that our flight back into EWR holds but I'm going to keep checking. As for those hold times, I had to use 3 different phones since the battery on the phones kept going low!
