I am not sure whether these should be posted here or not, but here goes.

Meddie and I took about a half day tour last week of Saba. We flew Winair at about 11:00am from SXM to the "Rock" as Sabians call it. Hired Billy, our taxi driver, to take us on a tour for the afternoon.

This really is a pretty good way to go. The airfare was about $60 per person. We had to pay the SXM departure fee of $6 even though the AA tickets included the normal departure fee. The taxi fare was $40 plus tip for the two of us. Pretty cheap for transportation and a tour guide. Saba is so small that a half day is plenty of time to see the Island.

I spent a day on Saba originally back in 1993. Not much has changed in eleven years. Maybe a few more cars. From two to 4 <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/jester.gif" alt="" />Kids on skateboards. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/Laugh.gif" alt="" />

The pics aren't the best, but here you go: Pics of Saba
