We are planning a trip to Hawaii this September, and looking for suggestions for an inexpensive car rental company, maybe both on Oahu, and possibly Maui and/or Kauai. The car doesn't have to be fancy and new, but would certainly need to function correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Dave

Took NCL cruise last year & rented a car on every island - used http://www.discounthawaiicarrental.com and were very pleased. You don't know what company you'll get but it'll be one of the majors. As I recalls all islands were in the $ 40-50/day range. Just be prepared to pay up to $5 gal for gas
