The main goal is easy, stress free access to haulover nude section. We can drive to dinner

Newport Beachside Resort. Walkable, straight down the beach, has a pool and restaurant. Very good location

We stay at the Courtyard Marriott Adventura these days. No parking fee, no resort fee, and ~ a 16 min drive away.

Try The Daddy O Hotel on the island behind Bal Harbor Mall. Great boutique hotel, parking is metered between 8 am and 6 pm but fee at other times. Depending on the time of the year and how far in advance you make your reservations, it can be a low as $109 per night. Another option is book a room, a condo, or a home in the area on www.airbnb.com. We booked a house with a private pool on Memorial day for $200 per night.
