Applied yesterday around 5:45. I received approval almost immediately. My husband received his in about 45 minutes. I guess it depends on who processes it. Hopefully you have it by now. We depart on Sunday staying on the French side.

We applied the other day - mine was sent at 1:15 in the afternoon and DH’s just fifteen minutes. He got his approval within a half hour and once again, mine was the problem but it did finally come through at about ten o’clock that night. This is our third trip since Covid and each application has had issues but we’re here now and that’s all that really matters.

Respectfully,

pat

Success !….Checked spam and all the obvious, finally submitted again using different email provider and received pre-approval within two hours, good to go. Second trip this year and had similar hiccup last time. Based on advice on TTOL and my experience, appears resubmitting until it works is the answer, but it sure is nerve wracking ….Dave dance

Submitted my application at 7:04am for departure on Wednesday, received confirmation immediately at 7:04am, and at 7:07am I received both my Pre-Approval and my Visitor Protection Plan. Isn't life grand.

Are you supposed to apply for approval only 72hours before your trip or can it be earlier since its only proof of vaccination now (compared to PCR test)?

EHAS is allowing you to do it three calendar days in advance of your trip but no more than three calendar days

I've read all the procedures, but can't find where it says how many days/hours one must allow before arrival to apply for the EHAS. I tried this morning for a 4 December arrival and kept getting a message like "date must be 3+ days before arrival"

It was always only three days before, when you could apply. That is apparently what they are still doing, although it doesn't say that anywhere. Doesn't the note actually say LESS than 3 days, not 3 + days?

Due to a flight cancellation, we submitted ours 4 days before. No issues.

Applied this morning for a Sunday Nov 14 arrival and approval was less than 1 minute.

I had to re-apply this morning and got approval within 2 hours. Try again. Phone number doesn't work as far as I know.

I agree, after many unsuccessful phone attempts, I finally got answered. They said I was showing as approved, but weren’t sure they could retransmit approval email. So my take is if you don’t get preapproval email back relatively soon, just reapply. You may get multiple morning ehas temperature check requests, but not a problem….dave
