Day one of week two……

And we got off to a vaguely familiar start yesterday. Had our morning coffee on the deck but went next door to El Zafiro for breakfast, each of us having the savory crepes and enjoying them thoroughly. We had wanted to say hello to BlackMercedes but they actually left the day before. My bad……

Back home to gravitate from our deck to the sand and back to our deck again. We never did get around to having lunch but at this stage, that’s probably just as well! Some longtime friends from our Towers days arrived here at BSV yesterday and we spent some time catching up with them which was very nice. Late afternoon drinks and snacks on the deck and finally, dinner again at the Spaghetti House. After getting slammed all week Katerina was finally having a slower paced evening.

On his way back from the grocery store a few days ago, DH had stopped into Porto Cupecoy casino and for once made a reasonable withdrawal. He wanted to go back and try again and show me how it’s done. Such a disappointment…….. it’s mostly all slot machines and penny slots at that. I usually have fun with the Penny slots but the atmosphere was almost depressing and everything was a bit too techie and bright for me.. There was NOBODY there and it was late enough you would have expected it to be at least a little busy. We were the only ones there beyond the staff. This trip we quickly made a small deposit and left. And FYI, they did temperature checks and hand sanitizing on the way in and masks were mandatory.

And once again, it had rained while we were inside and was done by the time we came out. Home to a good book and some tv time before bed.

Thanks for the report. So, they do have some table games at the casino at Puerto Cupecoy? We only play table games. We thought about stopping in there the last trip, but we had eaten early and figured it would be empty of other patrons, so didn't.

There were a couple of what appeared to be large tables but they were covered with plastic and didn’t appear to be in use at this time. I didn’t notice any blackjack tables either which isn’t to say they weren’t there…..but is more like saying “she had a second glass of wine with dinner and that’s how that goes!” 😊😊

Respectfully,

pat

We don't know when or if they are opened.

Very quiet the night we went and the casino was closed when we went back.
