Breakfast snack in room and coffee on the patio (our favorite time of the day) out early 9 to scope out a spot for carnival met a nice young guy who owns a jet ski business on the boardwalk. We were way early and it was his day off so we gave him a ride to orient. I wanted to stop at a new sign for breakfast "Moms Quisine" it is off the main rd in the French Quarter. We had a very nice breakfast. It is owned by the same people that own Chez Leondras at Orient. Of to carnival. We walked the boardwalk and front street for a while the went back to the sandy island area to see the parade. We stayed for 3-4hours! Very loud and fun! Great chicken lunch at the wooden stand I front off the casino. Home to rest on the beach! Till dinner; ocean club green monkey all you can eat rib night. New owner is nice atmostsphere nice/ quiet food was as expected; a ride on the new bridge was very nice and bright. Then to the carousel for some gelato. We met and spoke with Georgia the owner from Italy she is very lovely; highly recommend! Yum!! Then to bed! What a day
