Winding down. We fly home tomorrow.

Didn't make it to Lagoonies for their famous fish & chips. But then, there were lots of places on our list we didn't make. No problem---just another excuse for a return trip.

Drove to Driftwood Bar and caught waves crashing up to airport runway fence and the road impassable because of sand. We haven't seen waves like that (without rain & storm) since a few years back when a squall was predicted and genre dams paroled Grand Case one Harmony night just before it was to begin, and announced evacuation. That trip we returned Wed. morning but to Marigot and saw waves crash over the street up to the cemetery and at one of the beach front hotels a wave entered the lobby and exited onto the street.

Very windy Friday so we didn't even attempt Orient. Stayed at our beach and pool until dinner. Thought about eating at Hideaway at La Vista then remembered the Jump-Up. Didn't know which roads would close so we headed to Le Taiitu. Hubby had Veal and I had a fish dish. Both very good. 3 glasses of wine and some Chocolate Mousse to die for! $86

Back to the condo to pack and shed tears about having to leave paradise.
