Up early coffee on the lanai watched several cruise ships dock before heading to Marigot.

Surprised to find little traffic. Market was busy though. Took photos of the parrot fish in all their glory of color. Coffee& croissant at Sarafina then back to the market to buy spices and another hat for hubby.

Mid morning had ginger beer at Rosemary's (my namesake) in the harbor while trying to decide whether or not to make the climb to Fort Louis. The chair and another drink won out.

Off to the pharmacy to buy my favorite powder Talc a la Rose. Keeps me dry and smelling sweet. It's not like regular power in that it doesn't smear off or clump---I think it contains cornstarch.

Very late lunch at Bistrot Nu, the restaurant in the alley near the atheletic field. Boeuf Bourgenon for me and a veal dish for hubby with 2 glasses of Cote de Provence. Delish! Reminised with Jean Claude. THings in Marigot are changing he said. Businesses dropping like flies.

He told us La Vie en Rose is now only open for lunch. We talked about how that restaurant used to be waterfront before all that area was filled in and how difficult it had been to get a reservation at night.

After lunch, on Jean Claude recommendation we went to the new market that replaced Super Marche Match in the Howell Center... not very impressed except our favorite wine Pulliey Fume was only 15 US$ so bought a couple. They no longer sell that great crusty baguettes we remember from Match. However there's a nice boulangerie in the shopping center more reasonable than Sarafina or La soucriere.

Back to our unit for a swim before cocktails on the lanai. So full and tired we never made it out for dinner. Hope to get to Grand Case tonight (Thurs) to make rsvp at L'Estimenet and perhaps eat at Enold's while there.
