Well we are back, and as always, new and different yet the same.

We were so glad we did not mess with the faeries. It looks as things are getting better on that front...Bomba Charger is fixed, the old cat is almost done.
Seabourne was a very nice way to go from San Juan,PR. Much larger plane than I was thinking. I thought it would be a Beech1800'ish where I could flash my pilots license and ride shotgun. Nope, these are big planes.

BVIP entry, shweet! When everyone leaves the little plane and goes "left", you get escorted "right". My hopes were high when I saw the bucket of decent champaign, but they were empty. Still awful nice to fill out the paper work on a couch, with someone pointing out all your mistakes....then a NICE customs guys walks in, asks "the questions", and then you go to the waiting cab.
THANK YOU KEVIN!...if you are listening.

There was a BIG broker show going on at Nanny Cay. So my boat got moved to another slip (thank golly). It is always funny to watch people primping their boats, like really, you are going to sail with all that stuff out????"

There was rain....lots of rain....and then there was more rain.....and just when you though the rain was over....there was more rain. in the 7/8 days we were there...a few hours of stars and sun. I have been told this is NOT normal. the wind was actually coming from the west at some times, the south a good bit...very weird. as we were leaving there was indications of a north swell brewing, but who knows.

Used more gas in the dingy than we used on Hallucinations!!! motored to Salt from Scrub. I was pretty cruel and told the Admiral that I was "lazy" and did not want to make coffee, but they had it at Salt smile OBTW, bring shoes (not flops) on SALT.

Explored the North sound on "LUCI" ( the name of our dingy on Hallucinations ).
The MEGA yacht place has been sold and was closed. should re-open shortly. Very weird pulling up the the MEGA dock without a single challenge.

Sand-box was not open, but has a wonderful beach. Seems like a great place for a private picnic on private grounds.

We have always wondered what the REALLY nice place is at the back of the mooring field at leverick. it is Mooney Bay Estate. we came up on the dingy and the owners sons mother came "briskly" walking toward us...at first, it was clear we were not not welcome. It turns out, this is a REALLY nice place!!! And once we explained who we were, she was extreme nice....check it out!....nice digs!!

as we were wanting on the rain to stop...mentioned before...we saw the whole mooring field at Leverick go muddy/grassy/yucky, it seems as though a football field sized part of the hill...is now water.

Funny to hear people making comments about our 20-in-a-box-rainsuits-for-2 dollars-thingys. We heard "newbies", "didn't they know it was going to rain", "unprepared"...while they were wearing their 300 dollar GILL/Henry Llloyd rain suits....who is laughing now?
