Well, the post that I made last night is somewhere out there in cyberspace, so I’ll try again.

Last night we enjoyed another wonderful meal at Big Fish. This was a return visit, the only restaurant where we had supper twice during our 2 week visit.

Monday was our 35th wedding anniversary and we had hoped to celebrate it there. Alas, they are closed on Mondays, so we celebrated on Sunday night instead.

And of course Big Fish didn’t disappoint! Hurricane shrimp as a starter (delicious but a touch spicy for me to have again), lamb shank/chops for me and Chilean Sea Bass for hubby. We finished off with the chef’s surprise for dessert. Totally decadent and certainly enough for more than 2 to share. Wine, water, cappuccino (the French look the other way, unlike in Italy) tip totaled $185. Worth every penny. A very special evening.

Last night was the ceviche as a starter (absolutely divine and a very generous serving) followed by fish for both of us. Same drill, wine, water tip. All in $125.

The atmosphere is very elegant but not stuffy. The service is attentive and friendly. We feel blessed to have this gem within walking distance for supper.

Couldn't agree more. Try the lobster bisque next time.

We were there twice in November. It was excellent both times. The food was perfectly prepared and the service was outstanding - friendly and efficient. Can’t wait to go back.
