Just wondering. Are the restaurants at Manchebo Resort in Aruba only for guests of that resort or are those restaurants open to the public as well? We'd like to try the Pega Pega Cafe Beach Bar located at the Manchebo resort. We will be staying nearby at The Bucuti Tara Resort.

No. We have eaten at the Manchebo French steak house twice this year. The public is welcome. The pianist (Eddie) is fantastic and has been playing there for 18 years. That restaurant, and Charlie's Bar are my favorites in Aruba.

No, you do not need to be a guest at the hotel. Try Madame Jeanettes (sp?) one of the best on Aruba.

Certainly, anyone can eat at the restaurants at Manchebo. However, as Cincinnati said, if you're going to eat at Manchebo, try the French Steakhouse. We ate there on our honeymoon, many <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Blush.gif" alt="" /> moons ago, and a few times since then, and it has always been great.

Does Charlies Bar still have the shrimp that is very very spicy? Love the Yellow Bird there.

I generally get fish at Charlie's Bar, which is excellent. Everytime we have eaten there the food has been the greatest. And I drink the rum.
When you go, stop at Boca Grandi beach and Baby Beach, both of which are close by.

A Yellow Bird is a drink they are famous for. Yes, I follow the great wall and usually head to Baby Beach.
