Looks like we can’t get from STT to JVD in one day, due to late arrival time and ferry schedules. Have to spend the nite in either STT or Tortola. So my question is, which ferry arrival time in Roadtown is apt to have smaller lines, the first one of the day or the last ? It will be the last ferry on a Wednesday to Roadtown or the first one on Thursday. Thanks

Hi all ... I'm also trying to get from STT over to Jost, was hoping same day. We'd arrive into STT at 2:50pm on a Tues so was looking to find out if a water taxi out of Red Hook or Ch A might work? If yes, any idea the cost for 3 people?
thank you!

It seems doable but you would likely need to clear in at Road Town and then in to JVD. For the comparisons - our three girls are leaving today from JVD to Red Hook and on to STT via Island Time. $690 for the run plus taxi Red Hook to STT and international processing fees.
Hi again ... just reread your earlier reply - do u mean we may have to clear thru customs in RT? I thought I saw somewhere a while back that the water taxi could go direct from Red Hook into Great Harbour on JVD and clear customs there?
Anyone know the answer to this one?

Our girls had to clear out yesterday in West End as the JVD customs was not operational. They cleared out in West End but I understand that they close early each day and a 2:50 arrival flight may not make it.
Okay thanks. Need to get some clarity on this so I can book the JVD accomms to start on the right day. I'll post a separate question - hopefully someone will have the full scoop!
