forever--French side is different than Dutch side. French side is a CURFEW, which means everyone has to be off the streets. Dutch side is "nightlife businesses" are required to be closed at 11 PM, but no curfew. I still don't know what a 'nightlife business' is.
These days, we're never out past 11 anyway. The 8 PM curfew on the French side in June was a different issue, and a much bigger problem, especially if one is staying on the Dutch side and want to eat dinner on the French side.

Don't know. That's the point. I don't know what the definition of 'nightlife business" is.

In the face of the improvement of the health situation in Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy, Mr. Préfet Serge GOUTEYRON decides to lift the curfew and the ban on the sale of alcohol, and this Monday, January 31, 2022. However, it is important to remain vigilant in order to preserve this positive evolution of the situation, by continuing to comply with barrier gestures.
