Spoke with a couple this morning from canada staying at our resort, they indicated that they got off a cruise here in SXM on Sat. because some on board had to be quarantined.

Sorry, I'm confused. Not sure what you mean. The couple you spoke with had to be quarantined? I think Saturday is the normal turn around day on the ships that are home ported in SXM, so people would normally be leaving the ship on Saturday. Did they come from a ship that is home ported in SXM??

They were not quarantined they were supposed to cruise back to Canada. some on the cruise were quarantined.

Still confusing. For the last year cruise ships have not been allowed to come to Canada. Perhaps they would have cruised back to another port and flown to Canada?

A cruise back to Canada from SXM?? Regardless, apparently there are infected people on every ship sailing.

Goodness. Cancelling all remaining ports mid cruise? I love sea days but wow. There is a reason why we, who love cruising, are not cruising for a good long time yet.

The cruise line was going to fly the Canadians back home after they had put them up here for the week.
