Yesterday the owner of Astra (as well as a few more restaurants on the island) posted about a dine and dash from his Astra restaurant. The couples pictures were captured by their cameras and the pictures and their information was posted on his facebook page as well as quite a number of other pages. I have pasted a screen grab of some of the relevant post to tell the story. Dozens of locals kicked in information and posted details about the couple. Long and short of it is that this morning at 11:00am SXM time the couple showed back up to settle their bill. I can't even imagine this type of behavior.

Yes very disgusting and disgraceful behavior by this couple.

We need more restaurants to post this kind of behavior.

Hopefully none are victims.

In one of the Facebook groups someone tracked down both their personal Facebook accounts and posted links to each.

It was posted on this group, in the comments section of the timeline post. I only grabbed the actual post and not all the follow up comments. Besides his personal Facebook page, they also found his adult married daughter's facebook page and posted that information .

Not really sweet! Although the man and his wife's behavior was reprehensible, and they should be held accountable, I am not a fan of dragging in innocent family members. The daughter and her family were not involved and she should not be harassed.

Especially when it involves others, I do not agree that this resulted in 'good'. I don't defend what this person did at all, but we never got any portion of their side, whatever it might have been. Will close this one now.
