Thanks for the pictures. I kind of want to go there, although I am still concerned about the road. I am VERY afraid of heights. What is your impression of the road to get there?

Carol, it might look steep for a minute,
but it’s fine.
Close your eyes, unless you’re driving,
and don’t miss it!!!
Seriously, it’s worth it!!!😋

OK, I will not be driving regardless. Perhaps we will try it in June.

You’ve driven up and down the hill to Ans Marcel Beach Club. It doesn’t look much worse than that.

Respectfully,

pat

I’m afraid of heights and the drive doesn’t bother me. Just drive slow. Unfortunately we never made lunch there this trip. We’ve been twice on past trips. Love the food and comfortable seating. View of bay while dining, PRICELESS.

We had gone there a couple times before Covid and loved it. This year we went there in early March for lunch. I too am afraid of heights, and the drive down didn't bother me at all, but I wasn't driving! The food is excellent and interesting, and service was very good. It appeared to be very popular with the French tourists this time.

We went in daylight so no problems. As Pat said, if you've gone up & down road to Anse Marcel this road is a piece of cake. Wouldn't bother if only to go to the beach but food well worth it!

Anse Marcel doesn't bother me at all, because there are no big drop-offs the side of the road. I may have to make myself go. We'll see.

Carol, there were no drop offs.
Go! You’ll love lunch there.

As a frequent driver to Anse Marcel I can say there are many precarious areas on that road. You must have had your eyes closed through them. grin
