Just wondering if this is open? I haven't seen anything in several months about them. Thx!

In January they had literally hundreds of lounge chairs set up on the beach. We tried to stop in then for lunch and drinks but they didn’t know if they would be open for service and wanted to charge us just to sit in the chairs (we were the only ones there and left). No chairs out and it looked empty when we went by this past Friday.

All the times that I have been in North sound it has never been open. Usually April - June timeframe though. Actually enjoy taking a dingy there and hanging out with the goats and no body else...

We were at the BEYC on December 30 and 31. We took the opportunity to go to Prickly Pear. Other than a ton of chairs for cruise ship passengers, nothing seemed available to us. We left the place to return to the BEYC.

It's really hit or miss. We happened to run into Gumption on our Jan trip and he called his mom to see if she was opening. She did in fact open that day and we had one of our best meals there. There was no menu, no choices. You got what she was cooking but man was it good. No issue using lounge chairs but that may be because Gumption was the one to call for us.
Plenty of other times there has been nobody there.
She could be so popular if she was just consistent!

We went there last October. They had no problem with us using their chairs with umbrella. We purchased a few drinks from the bar. They were very welcoming.

She caters a lot to the cruise ships that moor in North Sound, which is a no-brainer $$ wise. But, she's always been welcoming when we've stopped in.
