I was never a big fan of him. But his food was good and there was something about eating in that hot steamy atmosphere that made it all come together! Thanks for checking it out for us, Breakfast looks good. We'll stick with SMYC for breakfast!! BTW it was really nice to meet you and Mrs. Whale tail at Beachside Villa's! Hope to see you in October-Nov!!

Went there many times in the past, this Feb. once was enough, food was good, but service was slow because waitress had to take all the orders and mixed most of the drinks. Along with that the noise level made hard to converse. Yes. Not the best acoustics.

We were there are last week one night last month. It was very quiet, and only a couple of singers. Was disappointed for the first time ever at Topper's, that we both thought the food wasn't nearly as good as it was for years at the old location. Just didn't have the ''vibe'' it had at the other location. The galato part was also a disaapoinment, with probably less than half of the old carousel days, flavor wise. His push in the new location seems to be more interested in his Rhum products and souveniers. Wouldn't be surprised to see the restaurant part closed up eventually, and the bar, entertainment, distillery, and souvenier shop remaining.

My question is: Is Topper reading any of these comments and what will he do???? Let the restaurant go, push the rhum? Keep the bar??? Forget the food? OR totally shake everything up??? In any event, I'm in no rush to find out!
