While I did not read this, I have a friend joining me in July that states faces masks are required. Certainly the pictures don't show that.....Confused.
Thanks for your help. Barbara

They were not mandatory for visitors in April although many chose to wear them. In most restaurants we frequented masks were worn by service staff and some shops still requested you wear them. I don’t believe they are currently required and it’s mostly a choice issue for visitors.

Respectfully,

When we were there for this last month of May some places had signs up suggesting masks but nobody was enforcing it. Some people in grocery stores had them on and lots without. Same with PJIA.

Thank you. I'll take one and hope not to use it. Getting more difficult to breathe with it! As my sweet Bill would say: "no bad days." How I miss him.

Face masks are not required anywhere on island. Reveil Matin was the only place where we saw staff were wearing masks. There was a sign that said face masks were required there, but no one was wearing one. Many places had a sign that said that masks are optional. We wore our face masks in the grocery store, and there were some others who did, but not many.

They are required in Dr's offices, hospitals and government offices.

While I still keep a mask in my pocket all the time, I have not worn one here in many weeks.

At least you have one that is handy. Probably not too sanitary by now. LOL
