Greetings,
Have chartered/sailed BVI continually since the late 80's, but never in November. The trip consists of 3 couples celebrating birthdays/anniversaries who with the exception of 2 persons have extensive BVI experience (again not in November). A lot has changed in the past few years (Irma, the pandemic,etc...) that knowing who will not be open or on reduced schedule is a question mark. Would appreciate advice/experience what to expect regarding eating establishments, e.g.will the Wonky Dog be open everyday or just some days.

Somewhat related question. Any comments on food quality at Saba Rock. Haven't seen too many reviews concerning the restaurant, but they seem to be a mixed bag.

Thanks in advance for any info. Wish you all, Fair Winds and Following Seas.

I go in Nov often. Great time to be there. North swell generally not a issue and pretty much everything open. Can be busy the last week of the month. As far as Saba the food is good. Service in the restaurant is reasonable. Don’t get me started on the upstairs bar however!

November might be my fave time to visit. Christmas winds and crowds have not yet arrived. Lower charter rates. Most places open. Generally no problem finding good anchorage or moorings.

November is generally good and most places have reopened by the 1st of November. No issues with mooring balls as crowds are generally less.

However, demand is up more than in previous years in regards to bookings.

We'll be there in late November as well! It will be our second charter, and the third trip overall. The first two trips were also in late November, and those were fantastic, for the reasons mentioned above!

We go to Anegada nearly every November. Everything there is open. I love going that time of year.

Thanks everyone for your input. I think November will definitely be on our schedule for future trips.

Out of 20+ trips since 1980, we have only been once in November and agree with most of what has been said here. We are going this year from Nov 11 -22 with TMM. Who will you be chartering with?
