Get ready to open your wallet...big time! January is peak time. Regular chain hotels are ~$500/night. You didn't say how long, but if more than a couple of nights, obvious choice is also VRBO, Airbnb, etc.
My wife is a "Conch" and we own property in KW, but it is amazing the prices there these days. We're going down in Feb2023 for a niece's wedding and looking at $1,000 a NIGHT! Yikes! I've tried to advise her to elope too. They've been together for 8-years. Geeezeee
