Will be arriving on island in a few weeks and had a few questions.

1. Where is the best place for grocery shopping now?
2. What is the cost of gasoline?
3. Are they offering rapid antigen tests at Road Town customs as we will be cutting our 48 hour window short.

Thanks in advance. Toni

Diesel was $6.50 at Moorings base and $7.30 at Leverick a week or two ago. For groceries, we go to Riteway, but we provision non-alcoholic drinks from One Mart and alcohol from Caribbean Cellars. Have fun!

Yes to testing at RT ferry dock if you are outside the 48 hour window..or get lucky! Of course things could change..regular gas at stations her is just uner $6 per ( Imperial) gallon..one pint more than US gallon.

@steve74 - thanks for the reco. We're heading over to Tortola for a 7-day sail at the end of the month smile
Do you buy at 3 different places because the prices are that much better, or more because of selection?

Water is way cheaper at One Mart and we order 48 gallons for two weeks. We have also enjoyed their people. We use Riteway for produce and a wider selection for main groceries (we go there to shop, not provision), and my wife likes the Love City seltzers that are only at Caribbean Cellars. When we have provisioned everything in the past, we chose Riteway because their selection is better and the site is fairly up to date. Have a nice trip!
