Are there any restaurants in the airport now? An actual place to sit down and order?
Thanks, Barbara

The closest you'll get to something like that is the bar across from Gates 8, 9 & 10. They do have lots of tables and there are servers circulation, though not many. I'm not sure they serve any food though.

The bar does not serve any food except for chips. You can walk up and order Dominos or a burger at some other places and take it to sit at the bar. There are a couple of other places to get food inside, but no 'sit down' type restaurants.

Thank you. I will tell my people. My thought process says stop and have a noon lunch and then go on to the airport. I am assuming it is still the 3 hour window.

We like to settle in at the bar at Gate10. After we order drinks, I go back up to Johnny Burger and order burgers. Best burgers in the airport. John

Barbara--if you have time, it's better to have lunch before you get to the airport, if you still have 3 hours before your flight. Once you get at the airport, I would vote for Johnny Burgers.

We are getting close to SIX YEARS!! And this Albatross of an airport is no closer to finished than the day they started to clean it up. IMHO, it's disgusting that there are NO options for food in the airport. It's so sad, the old old airport had food concessions a cute bar, sure it wasn't cool in side. But the food was good and the drinks were cheap and cold!! Has if we didn't have enough to do before leaving, now add in a pitstop at Zee Best on Airport road for something hardy and tasty to eat!!! Big airport should have a luxury restaurant and many good choices to choose from!!

You're wrong; there's a nice bar and several options for food in the airport. Not luxury, but certainly adequate.

I found adequate food options the last times we were at PJIA. Airport food isn't high on my list of priorities when I travel.

For return I buy a fresh baguette and cold cuts and make sandwiches to take to the airport. The sandwiches are big enough for lunch at the airport and something for the flight home. Also buy a bottle of wine from the bar and chips for lunch.

Sometimes we buy sandwiches at airport, but I'm not crazy about them and got sick one time.

Now, I mostly make Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, that I don't have to worry about, if they
are not refrigerated for 3 hours.

I just want to have my flight there and no problems with cancellations and mechanical problems.

If you bring a sandwich or fruit onto your flight home then be sure to eat it before you land at your US entry airport.

You and scuba must have very low standards for editable food when flying!! I'm NOT wrong!!! It's disgusting that it's been almost 6 years and that dump still looks like that!! I've flown for business most of my career , have been in more airports than I can count with amazing food options!! This is in my top worst airports!! AND I'm NOT WRONG about that!!

I beg your pardon but I do enjoy good food when I go out and eat home. I just don't see the need to indulge or expect a gourmet experience while at an airport. To each their own.

Yeah, I don't know why this went in this direction, but since the original question has been answered, will end this one here.
