Somebody has to say it... Yes, all over the place, but you have to pluck em yourself.

Several local farms sell them. Got one at the Farmers Market a couple of weeks ago. Amazing flavour.

Except unlike the chickens, the goats will chase you.

In some situations all of the above may chase you, especially when protecting their young.

I recall a Free Range Rooster when I had a place in Orleans many years ago. The rooster and I were on different sleep schedules, and I really wanted him to take a swim in my stew pot. Someone else got to him first.

Except there's only one suppressor for a shotgun out there, and that brings the noise down to the equivalent of an aircraft carrier flight deck. Go for a suppressed .22, and choose Free Range Chicken with Tarragon & Mustard toast

Dog is good eating too. Plenty of supply on the island.

I had a quieter plan for the rooster. I was happy that someone else got to him first. I've harvested and plucked chickens before, and didn't really want to have to do it again.

The original question has been answered and it is now drifting way off topic.
