Haven't done a trip report yet, but the Mrs did put up a mere 200 of her favorite pictures I'll leave the link up for a while.

We stayed at two camps in Botswana:
River View Lodge (outside Chobe) and Santawani in the Okavango Delta.
In Zambia we stayed at the Musanza camp in Kafue.
In Zimbabwe we stayed the Makalolo camp in Hwange and ended up with two nights at the Sprayview Hotel in Victoria Falls.

Hi Kirk. I made this it's own thread, so it won't get lost. Looking forward to having time to spend to check out the pictures!

Thanks for the pictures! I enjoyed seeing them while eating lunch. I had forgotten how stunning sunsets can be in Africa. Thanks again for sharing. I would love to read a trip report also, if you get the chance to do one.

Very nice photos. Such a variety of animals! There is a lot of talk about seeing "the Big Five" but we missed smaller things like the genet, monitor lizard, bushpig. And so many lions!

Looks like it was pretty cold there in their winter.

When I spotted the Genet, the guide/driver even had to get out a camera. He said that you never see them during the day. The one "disappointment" was not seeing a Cheetah but we saw so many Lions it made up for it. I'd think it's a Birders paradise too...I'd bet we saw over 100 types.

It was high 30's low 40's at night and in the morning, but it still heated up during the day.

The sunsets were amazing! You could have a good trip just setting up a tripod every night to take pics of that. We were on the Chobe river in a boat for two of them that were amazing, but technically you have to be off the water by dark so it makes for a mad dash back as it's going down. The ones from land were great too, but sometimes it's just hard to get the drivers to sit still at that time.

I personally would have been very disappointed NOT to see cheetah, as they are my favorite big cat. We were lucky when we went, in that we saw the Savuti brothers, a very famous trio of cheetah, that, unfortunately, are now gone.
