So, we are less than a month away and we finally booked our first airbnb! For our coastal portion we chose Santa Margherita Ligure for our 3 night homebase. Easy access by train, offers boating options, ferries and plenty of hiking options, a beach and of course restaurants/cafes. There's a great hiking loop that runs out to Portofino with a cool looking beach Baia di Paraggi along the way. Other notable towns we considered were Camogli, Rapallo and Sestri Levante, these will probably be day trips, Camogli has a trail to San Fruttuoso Abbey that looks cool. We've been to Cinque Terre, but we might have to pick one to revisit just because! Any info regarding this area is appreciated!
