If this comes out half as nice as the rendition, it going to be a fun place to go to!! Updated photos of the progress on there FB page, it's going to have AC!!! It was always hot as hell in there. But the food was amazing.

I was never that enamored with the food at Topper's, thought the food was better in the previous restaurant. Can't remember the name now. But it always was hot as hades there. Glad to hear that the new place will have a/c. Will need to check it out then.

Elaine beat me to the former name. As we are down to single digits before arriving, a new place to check out is on our radar. Toppers had very good prime rib with whiskey carrots that we enjoyed sharing. Dinner there on Halloween before we went to Lady C or Sunset was a ritual for us so we do have good memories of hanging out there but his new location holds no appeal to us.

Yes, Bananas with Dale and Bob (from what I recall). They took off for Anguilla pretty quickly. It was better than Topper's IMHO.

This is a chain. I hope it doesn't aggravate the already bad noise situation in that area.

This is the reply I received on FB about a grand opening. "Soft opening no later that end on Nov. Full grand opening week by second week of Dec."

No assurance the prices are current or they will be the same on SXM. Looking forward to your reports.

To bad the cheese is American Cheese and not a choice of Gouda, Cheddar or Swiss.

I looked at the website. Not sure three locations constitutes a "chain".
By that definition, Greenhouse is also a chain.

The former Toppers (previously Bananas) location. Between Royal Palm and Atrium on Welfare Rd.
