The last time I was in Esperanza on Vieques there was nothing to use as a dinghy dock. Ended up dropping crew off by the cement steps on the malecon and tying up to remnant’s of a destroyed dock. Is there anything better now? Thanks.

Will answer my own question…

There is a low concrete dock down towards the restaurants from the bigger commercial dock. It’s fine to tie up your dinghy on this dock however there is no deck so you have to walk along some 12” wide concrete support beams. Not as bad as it sounds and you can take less than agile people in closer to shore. Also depending on the wind direction you may need a rear anchor.

The wood on the supports looks fairly new so maybe they are getting close to re-decking? Esperanza was pretty hopping on a Sunday night.
