Don't know if this has been posted before. We walked by the old Toppers location today and picked up their menu.

Looks like great prices for SXM. Limited menu and lots of competition for good hamburgers on the island but I’ll definitely give them a try.

Thanks for posting! Always good to have another option. What's the situation with parking there now? It seems like something took over most of the parking lot?

It's weird though it says Red Hook, Havensight and Cruz Bay, and not Simpson Bay.

Why the heck do they use American cheese and not Gouda on a Dutch island. Cheddar, Swiss or Gouda are my choice.

Carol didn't really pay attention to the parking situation as we were walking but I'll take a look this evening as we have reservations at Astra. Roxy seems to have the largest parking lot, don't know if it is only for Roxy patrons only.
We also stopped In the Amsterdam cheese store and picked up a wedge of Black Lemon Gouda. Yes it is black as can be, never had black cheese before! It left an after taste like my wife's Lemon cookies. Yummy. The girl in the store said that both store locations in SXM are out of the plastic for vacuum sealing wedges and don't know when it will arrive. So once the wedges are gone it is the whole wheel only for sale.

They're after a particular thing, the gooeyness and mouth feel of American cheese - Just like their other three locations. If you look at the menu, one of the things is simplicity, one choice of cheese.

I've talked to the owners quite a lot and I am certain they are going to KILL at that location. There are three bars in the place, one stand up bar up front, a service bar with lots of seating inside, and a service bar and live performance area at the back outside. They've pout quite a lot of money into refurbishing the old cottage and it looks great.

My best buddy is visiting on Saturday and that's going to be our first night out together.

I'll have to bring my own chamber vac bags with me as a precaution in May.

Stopped in at the Amsterdam location in P'Burg today and was told their shipment of vac seal bags and cheese has arrived so no need to bring your own smile
