One of our favorite places. What was that main course?

Thanks. Couldn't tell what it was. Surprised to see it served with 2 starches.

I think you're mistaking a mango salsa for a starch.

The dish in question was a sweet corn relish served with the red snapper. It was all delicious.

So not a mango salsa.

You have two dishes on your plate with the red snapper, one was a sweet corn relish and the other was?

Be Happy! Simply because you deserve to be. 😁

Looks similar to a macaroni dish I was served with a chicken entree.

This looks so wonderful! Glad the reports are coming back still with satisfied customers! Have not gotten there yet on previous trips but looking forward to going end of February trip. Can anyone explain what the procedure is for lunch and beach chairs? I've emailed them (in French) inquiring the charges/reservation recommendations but have not heard back. I am assuming they charge for chairs, plus lunch even it you have lunch in chairs on beach? We're heading there second day of our trip...oh how I missed this beautiful, exciting island!!! Assuming you need reservations.
Thanks and if anyone can take a peak and my thread on cell phone usage and data and respond it would be much appreciated. I promise I'll post trip pics and reports as I've found them delightful and useful and have not done so in the past.

Yes, they charge for loungers eating or drinking on beach or at restaurant. Reservations are suggested depending on season and coolers aren't allowed.

I send a message to "Anse Marcel Beach" via Messenger in Facebook. I always make a reservation, even if it's not high season, as they had a reputation in the past for turning people away who didn't have a reservation. If I remember correctly, chairs/umbrella are about 30 Euro. It can be a spendy day but well worth it in my opinion. Tell them approximately what time you want the beach loungers and what time you would like to eat lunch, as well as number in your party.

Think I'll have to call them or try on their website to make the reservations as I deleted my FB years ago and you could'nt get me back on that app with a 10 foot pole. Coincidentally my traveling partner and bestie never was on FB, when you know you know.
