Daily Herald story

Why in the WORLD would they decide to do this in dead high season???? Hopefully the backups won't be too bad. People trying to get to and from Orient and Grand Case for dinner will not be too happy.

And it starts at 7 PM, right during the dinner hour.

Yep, we’ve been driving thru there this past week and so far not too much inconvenience.

Didn’t I recently that they are repaying that road and that some of it has already been completed? Now they are going to dig up the new pavement.

I think was on the 'main drag' in Grand Case. This is on the main road, that goes through the edge of Grand Case.

They were doing work last week along road with drain pipes near hope estate but digging on side of road not pavement. Very little issue getting past. Looks like they are getting ready to pave in Marigot. The roads been prepared & paving vehicle was in parking lot. Again preparation must have been at night.
They are planting more palm trees along by hope estate & cleanup all along roadways to keep mosquitoes down. Excellent job & they are whistling away while they work.
And way less scooters on French side!
Will do post later in week. Hubby had bad bad cold so didn’t do much. Not covid. We bought tests.
Until then.
