When returning home to Florida from the BVI or even St. John, we add an extra day on to every trip, book a room at Emerald Beach hotel for a night, make our way back to STT, check into the hotel, grab a drink, take a swim, decompress, have dinner at our favorite restaurant (Oceana) , have a nice leisurely breakfast at the hotel, relax on the beach, shower, grab a cab to the airport, get a porter and get on our flight without all the logistical stress. It adds maybe $1000 to our trip but is SO worth it not having to worry about making it to the airport in time. Been doing this for many years and it does make a difference.

Thank you. I only saw the Friday, Saturday, Sunday ferry also. Does anyone know what it will be like to try to get a taxi from West End early in the morning on a Wednesday? You can arrange a taxi ahead of time but the last time we put someone in a taxi from West End to Road Town, there were a bunch of them sitting outside Omar's Coffee Shop.
