It has only taken me 5 bareboat trips to finally go digital , and FINALLY post a trip report, instead of simply offering the occasional insight to sailing in the BVI. Please bare with me, this is all based on recall from 6 months ago.

I've enclosed at the end (I hope) the link to my just created photo album of highlights of my BVI-04 photos. This is less than 10% of the photos taken. I've loaded the photos in chronological order but I don't think they open up that way.

Trip Report:
I'd do a map, but I think all the circles and zig-zags would become quite confusing . We don't have a sailing plan, as we adjust out daily destinations by weather and attitude!

This is a very brief outline of the trip. Just accept that I always have a good trip . I am on Island Time before I arrive and Chil' further as the days go by . I have no bad experiences, meals or service to mention.

Mar 16: AA to Tortola, taxi to Sopers Hole - heading straight to Pussers for first Pain Killer for this year's Triangle, we are the last 2 of 8 crew members to arrive on Catolyn a 39' Privilege.
Mar 17: Await delivery of provisions from Bobby's - first time we provisioned on-line, as we prefer to wander the stores in RoadTown to pickup supplies, but boat is now in SH. Very satisfied with Bobby's and all of Leon's help. Sail off to the Bight. Visit Willy-T and have dinner at Pirates.
Mar18: Snorkel at the Caves, at Willy-T's, snorkel the rocks, dinner on board.
Mar 19: Sail to Salt Island, hike around pond, along shore, talk with Henry (?) about making charcoal & salt, and about all the graves. Sail on to Marina Cay for evening and dinner at Pussers.
Mar 20: Sail on to Monkey Point for snorkeling & lunch on board, sail on to BEYC, happy hour at Pub and Buffet dinner at BEYC.
Mar 21: Sail to Anagada, snorkel at Loblolly, dinner at restaurant down from Hotel (name?).
Mar 22: Snorkel at Cow Wreck (no coral), lunch at Cow Wreck (good burgers), dinner on board.
Mar 23: Sail to Trellis Bay, stopping to snorkel at the Dogs on the way, drinks and dinner at de Loose Mongoose.
Mar 24: Sail to JVD - Little Harbor (?), snorkel around Diamond Cay, lunch at Taboo, hike around point and out to rocks. (I'd caution others on this, as it took several attempts to find a place to enter and exit because there is a lot of young coral in the shallow water.) Stay on ball near Taboo.
Mar 25: Sail to Sopers Hole, fill water, sail on to Pelican and snorkel west side of Pelican, happy hour at Willy-Ts, stay in Bight for night.
Mar 26: Sail to JVD - try to stay at White Harbor, but way too rough, leave and motor over to Great Harbor. Yes, I know we were just at JVD 2 days ago. This is the circle/zig-zag route I mentioned above. Besides someone has to fight this stigma of either counter-clockwise or clockwise - who says you can't do both! Dinner at Foxy's BBQ . A favorite of many of the crew.
Mar 27: Back to Soper's Hole, winds were picking up too much , so we opt'd for a shore day, with crew going their separate ways all day.
Mar 28: Sail off to Bight, more time at Willy-T , and snorkeling.
Mar 29: Sail back to Soper's Hole, taxi to airport, and head home.
Sep 10: Do trip report!

I know this is lacking in details and commentary - but if I start commenting on all the fun times, I'd keep going for hours. Like trying to explain trying to listen Henry explain the history of Salt Island ; what it is like to be used to seeing 3-4 tarpon at Monkey Point only to find myself in with 20-30 of them going by at once , the visual experiences of going to Willy-T 3 times in 1 trip, finally earning my 1st Triangle from Pussers-that only took me 5 trips to remember to do it, and of course-checking luggage at airport so I can walk over to Trellis Bay, grab a Carib from grocery store and stand with feet in water
until it is time to board plane . I think you get the picture.

Now I hope the link works for the pictures. All photos should have text with them. It isn't a live link, I don't know how to do that, but I've cut and pasted the link into the browser and it appears to work.
