Hi everyone. It's been about 5 + years since I was last at St Maarten.
Can you please recommend some restaurants around the island for dinner? Is Big Fish still there?
Also looking for some lunch spots in Marigot and Grand Case.

Thanks!
Sarah

I'll limit this to lunches as I'm sure others will cover the dinner options.

My top 2 Marigot lunch spots are Tropicana and Be Kool. Try to do both. Le Bistro Nu is also a good choice.

I'm not sure there are too many non-lolos doing lunch in Grand Case, but my top 3 choices would be Nice, Villa Royale, and mussels at Sunset Cafe (Order on Thursdays for Friday). Ocean 82 may be doing lunch, so that would also be an option.

There are so many restaurants to pick from -- it's hard to know where to begin. I would spend a few minutes reading through the recent trip reports and daily/weekly updates from folks currently on the Island. That's where you will find the best info, recommendations and even photos! I will always find something new to try or something old that I may have forgotten about. Fyi -- Big Fish is still there! Enjoy your trip!

We're going to be there in a couple of weeks and I, too, have been looking at lunch spots in/near Grand Case. A few from my list (that I've never tried, simply have them on my radar for this trip): Restaurant Cool Heure - I think this is a lunch only bistro type place.
Le Claquettes Chausettes is a food truck serving tartines, burgers, and frites and regularly sets up at "Garage 7" , just down from Captain Frenchy's. The restaurant at Le Temps des Cerises hotel has lunch and you can use loungers on their beach. Java is a Mediterranean restaurant and beach club in Grand Case - the lunch menu looks quite good.

While Big Fish is still open the original owners Theresa & Mike have moved back to Canada.
They ran the front of the house and I always think you have a better chance for good service if owner operated.

For an upscale lunch in GC, I can recommend Le Pressoir.
A nice way to check them out without the higher dinner prices.

Thank you so much!!

How about dinner?
I love Chesterfields in Phillipsburg, and of course Big Fish.
Other places close to Divi Little Bay? There used to be a good rib place near the grocery store.......?

We only need a couple other nights out as Divi has several restaurants and the food has gotten to be really good over the years.

Not in Grand Case, but close and worth the few minute drive is Le Taitu in Mont Vernon. Many of the locals go there for lunch & it is very good.
