Whale Tail--thanks for the pics. How is the drop off in front of Beachside these days? If you are talking about the drop off into the sea I don't know because we don't go in pass our knees lol. But if you are talking about the drop to the beach at the concrete wall, it's still there. I'll take pictures tomorrow morning for you. I am curious about how much sargassum will accumulate over night.

Seaweed is always much worse at the EL Z end. Anything going on there? We saw construction men banging away when we there just before Waletail.

As with all the beaches in SXM lately, it all depends on the day. Orient for three weeks was good somedays, and horrible on others. Mullett, Simpson Bay, and Maho were also on and off, with mostly clear, but a quick wind change can bring the crap in at any given time. This pattern looks like it is here to stay for the immediate future. Miles and Miles of it offshore.
