I am currently sailing between St. Barths and Antigua, having just connected my satellite antenna because I'm bored with light wind and waves. It is 35 miles to St. Barths and 35 miles to Antigua. There's a lot of sargassum out here, only a few large patches but lots and lots of small fry. Perhaps 1/16 to 1/8 cover. That will add up if it washes ashore.
