Daily Herald linkHopefully whoever owns Captain Oliver's can now go ahead and rebuild and reopen. Way too long to resolve this, but glad it is finally done.

Before, their licenses were issued by the Dutch side, pretty sure. Obviously, laws are different on each side, so they will need to comply with French laws, if they want to reopen. OR, sell it to someone who will do that. At least now they have a way forward.

The hotel was French, the buildings over water were Dutch. It's a mess and I expect the owner is tired of the whole thing.

OK, thanks for the correction. As I said, at least now they have a way forward, if they want to sell.

Hopefully with in a year, someone will be able to rebuild in those locations! We loved Captain Olivers and the pool was so cool!! If you remember Carol, we hosted a few TTOL parties at Dinghy Dock! That was a fun place, good bar food and who could beat make your own cocktails for TWO DOLLARS!!! I'm glad that has been resolved!!
Sand Gravity, got to love it!
