We are having trouble finding space for our 50' multi-hull in the BVI and USVI. Anyone have any suggestions for alternatives? Puerto Rico marinas?
Thanks,
Chris

It is very late to be looking. You should have reserved in December. You may be able to find something on Sint Maarten or St. Lucia. Carriacou or Grenada mode likely.

Cheers, RickG

St. Lucia will accomodate you. I think St. Maarten is tough with that size. I'll be in Rodney Bay next week (or the week thereafter), as I store my boat there now; having given up on the BVI and Nanny Cay. This year's hurricane season predictions look generally good, and you can get a cheaper storage rate at Rodney Bay if you stay in the water.

Zanshin - Do you know who to contact or the name of the marina at Rodney Bay? Is it reasonably secure? I've never been there but seems like I'm always reading about crime issues there. Many thanks to you and Rick G for the advice. We didn't know until recently that we would be needing off season storage.

We rant into Zanshin at Rodney Bay in October 2021. It is a nice place and secure. The crime concerns are down around Pitons.

If that does not work out, Clarke's Court at Grenada can definitely handle your boat. Other Options are Spice Island Marine and Grenada Marine. We haul at Clarke's Court because we like the antifouling team there. Carriacou is where a lot of VI crewed charter cats haul.

Cheers, RickG

The marina is very secure, both in terms of physical security from people and from weather.

I can send you contact information, but you can also just contact the marina at the address given at https://www.igymarinas.com/marinas/rodney-bay-marina/
Any crime is down south, mainly at the Pitons and Soufriere. I much prefer St. Lucia over the BVI - and I spent over 15 years there before finally giving up.
