I think TravelHat was referring to this thread, which was actually about the Nettle Bay project. LinkI guess the Westin project is still supposed to happen, but no new info on that, as far as I know.

That article was from August 2022, which is a long time ago. I would think there should be some more recent 'official' news.

I don't think there is. "Insiders" talking with us in recent weeks are absolutely convinced that the announced opening date of November this year will never happen, and they don't even want to guess when there might be a sense of urgency. It will be a JWMarriott, smaller in numbers of rooms and more upscale. Irritating that they don't move much faster.
