I can't help but think of King Kong movies when Saba shows up like this.

Great pic! Pardon my ignorance here. We've been going to SXM every year for about 10 years. We always stay in Orient Village area or Oyster Pond area. We venture over to Simpson Bay area for dinner/live music, but in the evenings (creatures of habit, I guess). This is beautiful and I would love to venture that way during the day. Where exactly is it?

Saba is pretty much directly South of St. Maarten. We see it often from our unit at La Vista Beach.

When Saba i out you can see it from many places along the stretch from Cupacoy, Simpson Bay and Great Bay.

Thanks to the wealth of SXM knowledge and experience on this forum, we always have new places to explore each trip. We always go for a week+ in March because that's my spring break, but this is my last year of teaching. Looking forward to those extended trips and new adventures that so many of you share once we have more time!

Yes! I often call Saba "Bali High"
