We had a big lunch earlier in the day and wanted a simple "lighter dinner"
Have heard positive reviews of Spaghetti house in Jordan Village
maybe 8 tables are set under a canopy
the menu is straight forward and as mentioned earlier just red, white and rose
I heard a comment in the pool that the beer selection is even smaller with maybe only 2 choices and no "island beer" such as presidente or caribe

We shared a burrata salad which is always good as you really don't need to make the cheese taste good except dress the lettuce
Not sure why it is on the pricier side on the island as I can purchase a nice size contained back home for a reasonable price

I knew i was going to order the gnocchi with walnuts in a gorgonzola sauce
the good size portion did not disappoint

my wife had trouble making a choice with the limited menu but choose the pasta with shrimp in a garlic sauce
a simple dish and enough to bring some home

we skipped dessert and hopped over to the Starz casino in Cupecoy
as always few players and the tables are covered and not open
There is a very friendly French gentleman overlooking the floor
we have been going back and forth between small losese and even small winnings, but enjoy a the entertainment

We have never eaten there, somewhat because of that limited menu. And I don't normally want a heavy Italian meal on island.

I've always wondered whether there were tables at the casino there. We only play tables, so guess we won't be checking it out anytime soon.

I have ordered from Spaghetti House several times. Really enjoy their spaghetti and meatballs. I have not sat and dined, just take out back to my place. I’ve always enjoyed their food.

Mahokid, I am back on the island Sunday. Right across the street from where you are currently. Perhaps see you at the Driftwood Sunday night although I realize it is your last night and your anniversary.👍

Cheers

Dr Phil,

we can meet for a drink as we have 8:30 reservations at Azul at the Sonesta
don't think I have read any reviews on this forum about restaurant although we toured the property and it is a beautiful restaurant

One of our favorite places to eat.
